    <description>Thanks for the replies. &lt;BR /&gt;In case it reveals a hole in my setup, I ran the SIM 6.2 Configure and Repair Agents option and the Log produced follows this message. I feel that my set up of SNMP may be the broken link! &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Could not subscribe to WBEM events because the required HP WBEM provider is not installed or not running on the target system.&lt;BR /&gt;Check whether the target system has HP WBEM provider installed and running on the target system.&lt;BR /&gt;Subscribe to WBEM / WMI Indications ................................. [FAILED]  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Configuring SSH authentication (START)...&lt;BR /&gt;Successfully added the user,  'OFFICE\administrator', to the target servers SSH passwd file.&lt;BR /&gt;Successfully updated the permissions for user,'OFFICE\administrator', on the target servers SSH folders and files.&lt;BR /&gt;Successfully added the user,  'Administrator', to the target servers SSH passwd file.&lt;BR /&gt;Successfully updated the permissions for user,  'Administrator', on the target servers SSH folders and files.&lt;BR /&gt;To enable users other than "OFFICE\administrator" to use the host-based public key, add the usernames to the managed servers passwd file using the "sshuser" utility on the managed server.&lt;BR /&gt;Successfully modified the target server's sshd_config file to enable host-based SSH authentication.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Setting SNMP trap destination .......................................[SUCCESS] &lt;BR /&gt;Set Trust relationship to "Trust by Certificate"&lt;BR /&gt;Set Trust relationship to "Trust by Certificate" ...........[SUCCESS]  &lt;BR /&gt;Added this instance of HP SIM to the trusted certificate list for System Management Homepage 2.0 or later.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Successfully restarted necessary management applications to ensure that all successful changes will be effective.&lt;BR /&gt;Sending SNMP test trap (START)...&lt;BR /&gt;Sending SNMP test trap ....................................       <description>After loading System Management Home Page,&lt;BR /&gt;I have a green ticked disk against:&lt;BR /&gt;Overall System Health&lt;BR /&gt;Version Control Agent&lt;BR /&gt;Version Control Repository&lt;BR /&gt;but "no items" under the Component Status Window&lt;BR /&gt;Server is a Proliant ML350 g3&lt;BR /&gt;O/S is Windows Server 2003 SP2&lt;BR /&gt;Have just reinstalled O/S using SmartStart 8.25 and updated all using HP SUM&lt;BR /&gt;Bit unsure if I have SNMP correctly configured, can anyone give me some advice?</description>

      <description>What version of the PSP are you now on, are you still at 8.25?&lt;BR /&gt;There were some problems with the VCA that would cause it to hang and the SMH to timeout.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SNMP needs to allow access from the localhost and from the HPSIM Server. You also need a RO community name that is also configured in HPSIM.&lt;BR /&gt;You should consider updating to PSP 8.60 if you're not on that.</description>
