HPSim Home Page Settings stuck maximixed - Help!

I was configuring the Home Page Settings in HPSim (v6.3) and I set the Home page to a specific collection and selected the option: "Automatically Maximize Workspace". I now don't want the option to Maximize the workspace, but when I deselect that option and click OK, it reverts back to selected.

How can I get this to retain the deselected state?

It used to work in 6.2 fine. You're right, it is very annoying.

does anyone has a solution for this ?

got the same problem on a windows 2008 R2 64-bits server. Thought the problem had to something to do with a previous IE9 installation but now i see everyone has this problem with HPSIM 6.3

I am guessing this information is stored in a table in the DB for SIM. For example, when you login, it knows what your home page is, the setup of it, etc. So I would guess that type of information would be stored in a table - but I have gone through a whole bunch of them and cannot find it. My thought was to hack the table and change, for example, a 1 to a 0 for the maximized flag (for example 1 might mean maximized and 0 might mean normal). But no luck in finding what table it is located in. There are just SO many tables in the SIM DB, it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

Same issue here with a brand new instal of ICE; I gather no one has determine how to fix it. I'll see if I can open a ticket.

Hello,

This will be fixed in the future release of SIM.

Its not an value/entry in a DB table or any xml file.

The fix is something which is not user editable.

I was able to fix this on my system by resetting the home page back to the Introductory page instead of "this collection"

As stated above there is no fix. It will be fixed in SIM 7.1 (no ETA).
