Upgrading HP Procurve firmware using SIM

Hi everyone,

Is there an automated process within SIM 6.3 to deploy firmware upgrades to HP procurve switches similar to Proliant Support Packs for Proliant Server hardware?

Or do we need to use a manual tftp method?

No. ProCurve has their own management products.

Thank you for the reply, I note on one of the discovered HP pro curve switches it states the firmware and software revision "I.08.07" state is 'deployable', classification BIOS.

I assume this can only be deployed via telnet/tftp?

Yes correct this is via FTP/telnet only... Not via HP SIM (yet)...
