Hello Gurus, I have a SIM 4.1 installation on a Win 2k3 server. We would like to monitor Windows servers spread across numerous Datacenters, hence having multiple SAs and multiple configuration settings for SNMP, WBEM etc. Is it possible group the servers by location or SA with just one SIM 4.1 CMS? Each location SA should just have the visibility and access to his/her set of servers. Is such a grouping available in SIM 4.1 ?

Hello

System groups can be used to divide and organize your management domain into manageable units for authorizations. Working with system groups increases your efficiency because you can
set authorizations for each system in a system group in a single step. Systems can belong to one or more system groups.
System groups are lists of systems with common sets of authorizations. Using system groups enables you to define a single set of authorizations that applies to all member systems in the group.

In each groups you can set reference server and then with Replicate Agent Settings tool push SNMP and other settings specific for that group to other systems in those group.

i.
