Thu, 09 Dec 2004 20:40:29 GMT Rob Buxton 2004-12-09T20:40:29Z https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/vpm-installation-problem/m-p/4874922#M44610 Hi All,<BR />I downloaded VPM 1.0 via the VPM Home Page.<BR />It fails during the installation with:<BR />MSDE 2000 SP3 Install failed with exit code 12.<BR /><BR />I've done a bit of a google around but cannot find much that lets me know what might be causing the error.<BR />HPSIM is on the same Server, W2003 Std Ed. on a DL380 G3.<BR />Trying to just run the Install directly states it needs the SAPWD Switch because of a weak password.<BR />Any clues?<BR />I've not tried installing MSDE from another source but that's always an option.
