I'm having a similar problem however, even after deleting the servers and clusters and re-adding them, I still have the problem. Do you add the cluster before the servers or vice versa?

Hi,

I have an MSCS Windows Server 2003 cluster running IM 7.1 agents reporting to SIM4.2. The vurtual server (cluster) is CLUSTER1 and the physical servers are SERVER1 and SERVER2.

In the All Systems list, CLUSTER1 does not appear. SERVER1 (the physical server) is listed but with a system type of "Cluster". If I then manually discover "CLUSTER1" the cluster sppears in the All Systems list, but physical server SERVER1 disappears!

In the MSCS Clusters view, the cluster is shown called SERVER1 (instead of CLUSTER1), with the only member being SERVER2.

Any help gratefully received.

Many thanks,
Jamie

Resolved it - deleted SERVER1, SERVER2 and CLUSTER1 systems from SIM4.2.

Manually discoverd SERVER1 SERVER2 and CLUSTER2, all seems OK now.
