I have just installed SIM4.2 and get errors when creating new event tasks.
I have IE6 sp2 and get these on various "step" screens during the creation process.
Line: 2028
Char : 17
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL: https://cbrinsight:50000/mxportal/search/AdvancedSystemsSearch.jsp?iframe=alerts.

I am running J2RE SE 1.4.1_01 and v1.3.1_09

Can anyone shed some light? Thanks

I believe you need to be running at least 1.4.1_04 since that is what comes with SIM 4.2.

Try a newer version of 1.4.1, at least 1.4.1_04 or try 1.5.

Thanks for the responses.
I have upgraded to J2SE 5.
I have tried firefox instead of IE6 and get this error
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Index or size is negative or greater than the allowed amount" code: "1" nsresult: "0x80530001 (NS_ERROR_DOM_INDEX_SIZE_ERR)" location: "https://cbrinsight:50000/mxportal/search/js/MxSearchApi.jsp Line: 2027"]

I doubt this is a security issue as I have tried changing security levels in IE without any luck.
