Hi,

I just noticed that SP1 is now available from HP to download. Appears to fix various problems (but nothing I was looking for).

Has anyone installed this? Any problems?

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/download.html#Windows4.1update

Nelson

I downloaded and installed it (w/o problems) about 2 weeks ago. It did fix a problem that I was having w/ HP SIM generating false "unreachable device" alarms. So far, I am pleased w/ it.

It was mentioned in a forum thread by Joel who provided an ftp address. It was certainly not on the HPSIM site at that time.

I just tried installing this and had tons of errors show up. In all of the messages I see "initializer error: unknown MIB variable" followed by the varible name and other information.

SIM started back up fine but the version listed in the About dialog box is still 4.2 and build ver. c.04.02.00.00, build date: 2004-11-19 20:44.

I'm going to try updating the Java runtime and see if it helps.

Any ideas?

I updated the Java runtime and rebooted. When I tried reapplying the service pack, it said that it was already applied.

Now what?
