Hi all:

Got System Insight Manager 4.2 SP1 on a W2K box as the CMS.

I am trying to add an itanium ia64 rp4640 HPUX 11.23 system. I have setup the WBEM with a user (using the root), I have configured the SNMP and restarted. When I go to the Manual Discovery page in SIM I input either the sys name or the IP. Does some thinking and then returns without adding the system. There is a red star next to the NAME/IP ADDRESS field indicating that this is a required field. I am putting in the name or IP. What is it looking for?

May be it has added the system. PLease check All systems list to see if the system that you added is there..

It's just not giving you a confirmation that it has added the device successfully ;)..

Have checked for all systems, by system type, by system OS, etc. The result is the same, "No entries currently meet the criteria"

Is it missing something else?
