Hi all:

Running SIM 4.2 on HPUX 11.11 server. Have the snmp configured on a Linux system. Able to snmpwalk using -v1 or -v2c on the Linux system and the HPUX system.

The SIM is not updating the info from the Linux system. Example; for sysContact and syslocation I have valid values and snmpwalk display will be correct. But in SIM this info never gets across to update.

What am I missing?

Many thanks

Where in SIM?

Is the Server being identified or is it showing up unmanaged?

If in the Reports, has the BiWeekly task run since the information was updated?

In SIM you can view the particulars about a system. From the ALL SYSTEMS page you can click on a specific system and see the info.

The Linux system is showing as unmanaged.
