      <title>Getting an Insight Agent on a Workstation?</title>

      <description>There are some servers in our environment running on workstation class machines. Are is their an insight agent out there that i can load onto these to commiunicate with HPSIM?</description>

      <description>Hi Lisa.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Server agents won't work because they need a management processor AFAIK. However you can install the workstation agents (even if it is not a HP workstation, I did it on Dell Optiplex.). But they won't provide as many information as a server agent can do.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These agents are not on the lastest SmatStart CDs, but you can find it on the Management CD 6.30 or look for SP22909.EXE at HP.</description>
