      <title>Insight Manager and Windows Event Logs</title>

      <description>Is HPIM capable of monitoring the Windows 2k/2k3 Server Event Logs?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't think it can.  I have looked at the docs and downloaded a few more with no luck.  &lt;BR /&gt;My Manager says he read something that makes him think it does, but can't remember what he read.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you in advance for your help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jay Ryan</description>

      <description>No, what would you be hoping to pick up?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can get it to monitor Services (stop, start etc.) via the HP Management Agents GUI. It will also pick up events logged to the Integrated Management Log.&lt;BR /&gt;There is an HP Events Notifier, but that is not required if you have HPSIM as it just picks up events from the agents and sends them on.</description>
