      <title>Automatic Event Handling Error</title>

      <description>When I configure a new Automatic Event Handling with email notification I receive this error :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"Sending failed; Could not connect to SMTP host: 172.27.100.22, port: 25; java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: connect"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I change the ip address with the name of the server but result is the same, if anybody have idea ? &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Try telneting to the server to port 25.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;TELNET 172.27.100.22 25&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be able to issue a HELO command.  If not, check that your SMTP server/service is up and running.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BTW - Do you have to go through a firewall to get to the SMTP server?  Is port 25 traffic blocked?</description>
