Hello.

I found some missing links on the home page and in the Systems and Events frame :

On the home page (system overview in my case) I don't see the 'Customize' link in the upper right.
Also 'All systems' and 'All events' links are missing from the 'Systems and Events' frame(all these links are shown in the Help file).

And if I click on 'All systems' on the default home page, the list is blank. However, on the Systems overview, I can see all devices and events.

Any idea ?

After you set the home page to the "System overview page" you'll not get the 'Customize' link. You then will have to modify from "Options->Home Page Settings..."

You should have the "All Systems" and "All Events" link right below the "System Overview" Link in the "Systems and Events" frame...not sure why you dont have it. I hope you use IE6.0 SP1...

Thanks.

Yes, I use IE 6.0 SP1. The exact version number is 6.0.2800.1106IS. Can a parameter in IE be the cause ?
May be it is linked with the fact that I don't see anything in the 'All Systems' link from the default homepage.

Regards.
1) Try clearing the browser cache and delete history files and then give it a try.
2) Check for the authorization to the system managed by SIM (in HP SIM) for the user with you login to HPSIM.

Done but no change.

The account I use is the admin account of the server and has full configuration right (checked in the user and authorization page) in SIM.

The home page can be configured to show a specific collection. But n the list I don't see any 'All systems' collection. Seems like the 'All systems' and the 'All Events' collections are not present although I can see the links in the default home page.
Hi.

I tried to connect using different workstations (W2k, XP) and same problem : The 'all systems' and 'all events' links are missing on the left. And they are blank if I click on them from the default home page.
Clearing the caches and the history in IE does not improve it.

what a reinstall over the current one can do ?

Thanks.

An information : when I select the home page I want to see at logon, I can choose Introductory page, the overview page or a colelction. In the collection list, there is no collection with 'All systems' or 'All events'. Is that normal ?
