By any chance are you trying to delete the CMS itself? CMS cannot be deleted. And also if you have the servers that are part of certain associations then that entire tree should be deleted.

Hello,
I'm trying to delete a server from HP SIM (version 5), because it's obsolete.
I select the server, click on delete, a notification pops up [Are you sure to delete?], click on OK.
That seems to run fine, but the server is still in the list.
I already rebooted/restarted SIM etc.

Anybody any idea?

Arnold

No, it's not the CMS itself.
What do you mean with 'associations' ??
The management processor gets associated with the server; (blade) server to the enclosure and the enclosure to the rack etc.

I had the same problem when I ugraded my system from SIM 4.2 to 5.0. It would not let me edit my system lists either. I ended up completely rebuilding the system scratch.
