Hi,
i tryed to install version 5.0 on management cd version 7.40. i am not able to finish the database config because i receive "invalid credentials" - it seems that the config use not the administrator account - it seems it uses ZERO (thats whats my sql log is telling me). i have tryed everything: the included msde 2000 - sql 2005 - a own sql instance...etc..etc..
any ideas ??
best regards

manuel meskendahl

You get that error message if you have few spl characters in your pwd. So if you have spl. chars in your pwd., remove them. This problem also comes if you have specific NTLMv2 group policy setting set. You can go through the attached document to look for the workaround for the NTLMv2 issue.
