Hello:
I have Insight Manager 5 installed, this system controllers 95 servers. Of two servers, DL580 G2, don´t report the status correctly. When the server is down, the SIM reports OK status, or when the component fails the status not change.
I install the latest support Pack, I review the SNMP settings, are the same of the other servers. In SIM i delete the servers and recreate.

Thank you

HPSIM detects Servers are down via the Hardware Polling task.
You'd want to check the frequency or even if it is running okay.
If the device is not identified as a Server it can be up to 10 minutes before the polling task will pick up the outage.

To not detect a Server was down might indicate a DNS Name or IP Address conflict, i.e. HPSIM is getting a Ping response back from something else?
