Hi all:

Working with HPSIM 5.0 on a WIN 2003 Server SP1. Got a ProLiant B20p G3 server running RH 3AS with 2.4 kernel.

This also has the hpasm loaded as well.

I have changed the trapsink name and the trapcommunity name and I have bounced the snmp - service snmpd restart.

I have invoked the hpasm reconfigure to change these values as well.

When I snmpwalk I see the changed values. HPSIM is not showing these changed values. Why?

Found it. Seems I need to start a Identification process for the HPSIM to recognize the change.
