As Rob mentioned you can configure HPSIM to pull down everything.

This is done by accessing Version Control Repository Manager. You can find it from System Management Homepage of server where it is installed.
Once you access VCRM choose CATALOG tab and then on the left side there should be a choice "update from hp.com now".

You can also schedule this download from HOME tab and "configure the repository and automatic update settings"

Rgds,

Albert
All,

I have just loaded the above, but need to know if there is an on-line version of Firmware 7.50 and and online version of the latest smartstart 7.40 for my repository.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers

You can download the Firmware CD here:

7.5 http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24777.html

7.4
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/23331.html

Your best bet is to look up the server model and look for firmware CD or software CD. I should also note that if you configure the version controll repository on your servers, and you configure SIM to download updates, it should pull the necessary firmware updates down for you automatically.

Nathan,

This is an ISO image, which you can't use in a Repository, unless things have changed with HPSIM 5.

Regards

A

You can pull down the individual firmware items or you can configure HPSIM to pull down everything.

I pull them down manually, I just do a check for updates.
The firmware along with all drivers and the most recent PSP's can be found at;
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/index.html

The ISO is useful for those OS'es that do not have a VCA available.

If you want to download the individual support packs on a per-OS basis:

Go to http://www.hp.com

Click on "Software and Driver Downloads"

Type in a random Proliant model, i.e. DL385

Click on the OS of the support pack you want

The first link will be for the current support pack of the OS you clicked on

Backup and repeat for other individual support packs on a per-OS basis
