    <description>After updating all the HP software from 7.40B to 7.50A on my SIM Server, rebooted it and now I and the rest of my colleagues who are administrators of the server and the SIM application are getting a "Sign-in failure"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have checked the servers event viewer and can't see anything that may be causing the issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can login to the Systems Management Page with no issues.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Appreciate your help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-A</description>

      <description>The only solution that I came up with was the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Restored the last know good backup of the SIM Database.&lt;BR /&gt;Downloaded latest SIM from HP&lt;BR /&gt;Installed the latest version and all is now working again with no loss of information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks.  I upgraded to latest SIM (from SP3 to SP5) and that fixed the problem without having to restore the database.</description>

      <description>I had this problem in SIM5.0 sp5.  The cause was the sql transaction log filled up.  We extended the log and the issue was resolved.</description>
