What OS?
You can just disable the second NIC in Windows.
You can also remove individual sub-agents, again in Windows that is via the HP Management Agents GUI listed in Control Panel.

Hello,

Currently all of our machines are displaying the hardware as faulty within HP SIM due to us not using the secondary NIC.

Is it possible to disable the reporting on this interface as its pretty much impossible to determine which machines are experiencing faults unless we visit each machines systems webpage.

Thanks

Hi Rob,

I am running Windows 2003 SP1 and HP Sim 5 SP4.
I have disabled the secondary NIC in windows but HP sim reports all the servers as having a MAJOR HWStatus issue.
If I drill down in to the server it simply says Link Status Failed.

Can I remove the individual sub agents from one network interface and not the other?

I've just noticed that it may be refering to the onboard iLO nic. Is it possible to disable monitoring for this without rebooting the box?

Thanks for your help
