topic hostname mismatch revisited in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

I've read David Claypool's solution to the hostname mismatch back on June 8th when, as I, during the install of sim41 I got this error. And the solutions were "Click on Options -> Security -> System Link Configuration and you can use either just the system name, or the full DNS name" OR "You need to generate a new certificate to get one with the short host name. Options --> Security --> Server Certificate --> New."

additionaly, I've also went into the tcp/ip properties advance tab of the nic and selected both check boxes for use and registering dns suffixes.

However for the life of me were are you getting this options menu? My ie displays the HP system insight manager header with "Please wait. checking for a Java Plug in. Im running ie 6.0.2800 with all the latest windows updates.

Thanks John

If you're stuck at that prompt and that is new behavior, it's likely related to MS04-25.
