HTTP 500 Error when Scheduling Task

Good day,

I have installed SIM5 SP5 with the MSDE SQL database running. Whenever I try and schedule a task (periodically, any task) the HTTP 500 error is displayed. I am not able to save/scheule the task. Has anyone seen this before?

Also, seeing as I am pressed for time, would it be possible to schedule these task from the command line, while I wait for a fix? Any suggestions?

Hmm ..

I have tried all the proposed solutions described in the ITRC without any luck. Seems I'm not the only that is having these problems without a proper solution.

Thanks for the info on the CLI, I'll try and schedule it that way, btw, this happens whenever I want to use the scheduler.

Looks like we have to live with it atm until the SIM team look into it.

Solved the problem:

Reinstalled SIM but using SQL 2005 with SP 1. This sorted out all the other issues as well.
