We have about 175 servers in our enterprise.
I use the default MSDE and have had not had any problems. I use the standard functions (except VPM) Including the Version Repository, but I do not use the PMP. Hope this helps!

How many servers can I manage if I install SIM with the default MSDE database? Currently I have 100 servers in my environment and would like to
utilize the PMP agent, and Version Repository in addition to its standard functionallity.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hello ARS,

The SIM Sizer utility is ideal,

http://h71019.www7.hp.com/ActiveAnswers/cache/274366-0-0-225-121.html

500 nodes is the maximum if MSDE is the default DB.

SRH
