topic Insight Event Notifier in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

This is going to sound like a really silly quesiton, but what exactly is the HP Insight Event Notifier? It looks like it installs as disabled by default. How is this different than setting up the Automatic Event Handling in SIMS? Does it send alerts for things other than the trap alerts? Thanks.

Insight Event Notifier was created to enable the agent to directly send email containing the information available in an SNMP trap. It was designed for small business situations where with a few servers a running HP SIM or other management console may not be available.
