After Upgrade, Inventory only shows Version Control Agent

I have recently upgraded my Insight Manager Agents on my Insight Manager server from 7.60 to 7.70 using the Version Control Agent connected to the Repository. Same upgrade I've done a hundred times to my servers, but this is the first time with 7.70. After the upgrade, and reboot, everything works correctly.

However, when I open up the Version Control Agent page, the only item it lists is the HP Version Control Agent for Windows 2.1.7.770 (which is the correct version for 7.70). I can change agent settings and reconnect to the repository just fine. The logs show that all the updates went down fine. They just aren't listed on the inventory page. I've attached a screenshot.

Any help on this bizarre question is appreciated.

Hi,
I had the same problem. The Foundation Agent service was not started, when I tried to start manually I got an error.
So I uninstalled the Insight Management Agents --> rebooted --> installed Insight Management Agents ... and the problem was fixed.

At least I'm not the only one :)

That fix worked.

Have you put 7.70 on multiple servers yet? Does it happen every time, or was this just a one-off?

If it happens all the time, I'd rather hold off on upgrading the rest until it is resolved.

Michael, I've installed it on 2 servers and the problem comes on both!
I only update my test servers :)

so far I've installed approx. 30 servers. The actual problem occured 3 times.
