HP SIM and WBEM problem

hi

im having problems scanning VMware virtual machines with WBEM/WMI. I'm getting following error:

Running WBEM rules based identification.
Cannot get ComputerSystem WBEM/WMI data from the system

I guess because of that all my Vmware virtual machines type is Unknown. I have tried with normal domain user and with domain admin user.

I have the same problem, but for some of my vm's it works, and some do not.

Any ide?

An updated "WMI Mapper for HP Systems Insight Manager" version 2.3 is now available from http://www.hp.com/servers/swdrivers that fixes this and other problems...

i found my problem. We changed ip of HP SIM server. After that WMI Mapper proxy had wrong ip in configuration.

Hi Kalle,

I notice that you have changed IP Address of SIM Server.
I need to do the same with my SIM Server in the next days,do you have any suggestion about this procedure?
Is there any important step to follow?
