      <description>Is there a way to have SIM look for SNMP on an alternatate port during the discovery process, ie something else then 161?</description>

      <description>No, the solution does not currently allow the ports to be changed. HP has registered all of the ports that it uses with the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA, at &lt;A href="http://www.iana.org)" target="_blank"&gt;www.iana.org)&lt;/A&gt; and thus there should not be a port conflict with other software&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/techsupport.html#4" target="_blank"&gt;http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/techsupport.html#4&lt;/A&gt;</description>
