I have currently 15 ESX hosts (3.0.2), all with the psp 7.80 pack installed.
My SIM is 5.1 SP1.
My problem is that 3 of the hosts' SNMP requests (which are completely identical, and on the same physical sybnet) are not recognised.
When I send a SNMP test trap from inside the SMH homepage, the SIM does NOT respond to this (only for the 2-3 hosts, all other are fine). I've tried all relevant fixed provided by this forum, but with no luck.
So therefore i installed WireShark on the HP sim server to listen on traffik from one of the affected ESX hosts, and the SNMP trap IS recieved by the HP sims server, and the data analysed by wireshark, is identical to the request, that is made by the hosts which work fine.
On my SIMS server I have NO restrictions on which IP's can send traps to the SIMS server.

Why is SIMS not registerering the events from these hosts (which clearly arrives to the SIMS server)
