I have also done the same thing but the removal tool is not located anywhere on the computer anymore. I tried copying the files from another SIM insatll and it seemed to go through the process but it still thinks its installed.

Is there anything that can be run to completly remove everything?

I have recently installed the RSS manager as part of our SIM suite. It appeared to install correclty. After a day or two, I wanted to make some changes and I got the error message on the attached document. I have tried uninstalling the RSS Mgr, but thee is no entry in Add/Remove programs to do so. I tried to reinstall over top of the current installation, but am unable to because it is already installed. Has anyone seen this and, if so, do you know a good fix for this?

Hey Tim,

Small world, I went to reply to your question, and then I noticed your name. :)

To unstall RSSM go to "Start --> All Programs --> Hewlett-Packard --> SWM Agent --> Remote Support Manager uninstall "

It took me a while to find the uninstall for RSSM as well. I agree, it really should be listed in Add/Remove Programs...

If you run into any other problems, you can call myself or Keith.

Good Luck!

Shane Walker
