Need a bit more information -

Are you getting email notifications to any other accounts? (corporate email account, ISP, etc..)?

Are you working behind a firewall or some type of proxy which may limit, restrict or prohibit outgoing SMTP traffic (i.e., allow internal traffic only)?

Javed, I agree with Richard, you're going to have to break the problem down a bit.

Configure HPSIM to send e-mail to a local address, that proves your event notification is working.
Then set up a similare event notification to send to the external address.
It may be that your e-mail server will not forward internal requests on to external addresses.
Could be a number of other things as well.

A likely culprit is your return email address.

The smtp server you are useing might reject mail from your return e-mail address for a variety of reasons.

The email notification task should show up in the Logs, View Tasks. Failed emails will provide a clue as to why the email did not go through.

If there is no task result, then look to the criteria for your notification, because it is not getting triggered.
