      <description>i have a server in HPSIM 5.1 with minor health  status. the System Management Homepage sho "no failed/degraded items".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i have removed the server from sim and added again. same status. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;any idea?</description>

      <description>Hi Robert,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is a registry workaround for this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Be careful when making changes to your registry, be sure to know what you do with regedit.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The registry workaround is the following:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CompaqServer\RemoteInsight\MibStats. &lt;BR /&gt;The second byte of the value is the Mib condition. &lt;BR /&gt;02 = normal(healthy) &lt;BR /&gt;03 = degraded(failed).  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If nothing else is degraded in the SMH and this value is "03" then this is the problem .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Manually change this value in the registry from the "03" to "02".&lt;BR /&gt;Once SIM performs its next HW Status Polling Task the server will no longer be degraded. &lt;BR /&gt;However, if the agents or the server is restarted the workaround would have to be performed again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Tristan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
