Hello,

I am playing around with the 5 free PMP licenses that come with SIM 5.1. I tried to assign licenses to the following type of server but it not apply it:

DL380 G5
Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 SP2
Support Packs 7.8 and 7.9 (I believe I tried both)

Is there something in this configuration that is not supported by PMP? The requirements do not specicially say SP2 is supported, but yet it does not specically say it is not either.

I grabbed a couple of other servers (and DL380 G4 running Windows 2003 SP1 and a DL360 G3 running Windows 2000) and those took the eval licenses just fine.

Any thoughts?
Nelson

This one might be down to the PMP version.
See the following for a matrix of supported servers.
http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00700722/c00700722.pdf

Thank you sir. I believe you are correct.

This PMP seems more trouble than it is worth...think I will take the 5 eval licenses and chuck em!

Nelson
