SQL 2005 Standard was installed (not MSDE 2000), attached the tables to that version and everything works now.

I'm running SIM 5.00.02 and am using MSDE. Well, long story cut short, MSDE was uninstalled and re-installed to a different drive. The data files of the database are still there (mdf's and ldf's). There are three sets of data files that start with:
Insight
PMP
vmm

and there are four security certificates (.CER).

Is there a way to restore this database?

Thanks in advance

Rick

Hi Rick,

First be sure to attach the databases again.

After that check the database.props file located here: C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\config

Also verify the ODBC Database Sources (Administrator Tools)

Should be no problem to get it going again.

So I can attach it to any instance (since the original one is no longer there)?

Okay, tried attaching it, but I get an error that says:

Could not find row in sysindexes in database ID 5, object ID 1, index ID 1. Run DBCC CHECKTABLE on sysindexes.

Help!
