    <description>System is Reachable events are generated - they're listed as a "Normal" severity event. Which is why typical default event handlers picking up Critical/Major events will not catch them.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you create a new Event Handler, select Event Type is and then drill down to Systems Insight Manager Events and select the actual System is reachable event.</description>

      <description>MIBs define SNMP traps.  HP SIM bases reachable and unreachable on status polls, not SNMP traps.</description>
