Line of Dots in System Name - HPSIM 5.2SP2

See attached picture. This system has cropped up in the last few months. It's IP indicates a system which is already added to HPSIM. How do I get rid of it? I have tried deleting it but it keeps coming back.

cool never seen that.
Out of interest has the system board been replaced?
You may need to go into the BIOS (under Advanced Options IIRC) and enter the serial number into the BIOS.

If you just want to delete it and keep it from being discovered again, just take its IP address and add it to your exclusions.

My serial number looks like this: 09202020202020202020202020202020. I'm going to say it needs to be entered in the BIOS of the server.

I'd guess, that certainly doesn't look like a valid serial number. Be interested to hear if that fixes it.

Yeah, renaming the server fixed the issue.
