    <description>Thanks, Claypool.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I know what you're speaking of...I tested it on a blade server with Version Control service (vcagent)using stop.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I configured the Event Notification tool on the server, and sent a test trap successfully, but I did not get an email for the actual service being stopped.  Is there another setting within the HP Management Agent that has to be configured?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A quick question with the capabilities of HP Insight Manager...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know if it is possible to use SIM for notification if applications services (SQL, Websense, Exchange, etc.) stop/stall?&lt;BR /&gt;I didn't think it was possible, but I've been told that it may be...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for any insights you may have.</description>

      <description>On the server you want to set the alert on, go to Control Panel --&amp;gt; HP Management Agents --&amp;gt; Process Monitor [tab].  You can select the process and choose to alert on start, stop or stop &amp;amp; start.  When the event happens, an SNMP trap will be sent to HP SIM.</description>
