Update available for Windows systems regarding MS04-025 patch

The update is now available for HP SIM 4.0 and 4.1 running on Windows. Go to http://www.hp.com/servers/manage --> HP SIM and read the information in the header and use the links to the download page. The information says:

"Important Update: Microsoft recently released a security vulnerability patch to Internet Explorer (MS04-025) that prevents users from logging in to HP Systems Insight Manager. HP Systems Insight Manager 4.0 SP1 - Windows and HP Systems Insight Manager 4.1 SP1 - Windows updates have been created to address this issue and can be obtained from the download page. Linux and HP-UX updates as well as full releases of HP Systems Insight Manager 4.1 for Windows, Linux, and HP-UX with the appropriate updates will be available in the very near future. Learn more about this vulnerability."

I cannot link to the site through the page that addresses the fix. I surfed over to the FTP site and cannot find the specified file. Any idea when it will be available?

Thanks to you and the team. Works like a charm.
Using Mozilla Firefox did highlight some issues with the Firefox Browser and HPSIM.

I had the same problem when using Mozilla Firefox to download the file,
I had not problems using IE.

It appears the update has been removed from the site. Anyone know when it might be put on again? (BTW, add my thanks to the SIM Team for their quick response to this!)

The fix didn't work for me. I get a pop up dialog then command prompt window saying.

mxversion.exe -Unable to locate DLL.

HP Systems Insight Manager 4.0 or 4.1 not found. No changes being made.

Press any key to continue . . .

I have HP SIM 4.1 installed on Windows 2000 Server and J2RE 1.4.2.

Thanks. I had this issue, and the NT Event Log did not indicate clearly what was going on, except for a few obscure MxDomainManager restart events. Applying this HP patch resolved the issue without a system restart.

The link did not work for me either.. BUT If you cut and paste it in your browser it worked.
