https://community.hpe.com/t5/server-management-systems/automatic-event-filtering/m-p/5206058#M51537 I'm running HP-SIM 5.2 SP2, receiving SNMP traps from various pieces of gear.<BR /><BR />This morning a broken brocade switch in a blade rack started generating about 9000 warning messages per hour, so in about 4 hours that it ran I had a rather large event listing.<BR /><BR />Is there any way to configure something in HP-SIM to tell it to stop accepting events from a broken piece of gear like this, or otherwise tell it to ignore what are essentially duplicate or repeat messages?<BR /><BR />Ideally it would be something like:<BR /><BR />Ignore any event originating from this IP address if you get more than N events in a time period of 5 minutes.<BR /><BR />Thanks.
