system management homepage

Hi,

I have a bl490 g6 blade, i have just installed psp 8.50. When i navigate to the home page it display no information about the blade.

i get, system model unknown, management procesor unkown and no items are displayed in the overalll status summary. I have snmp installed.

Any ideas?

Hi Philip,
Check your last discovery task from Options>Discovery>View task results.
It appears that discovery didn't complete properly (reason could be -authentication or time-out).

Once verified all details, rerun the discovery.

Note - preferred sequence would be run Blade enclosure discovery first (ensuring blades/iLo etc are visible in SIM).

It worked for me, so should for you.

thanks for the reply. fixed it in the end. installed the wbem component and all components are seen now.
