    <description>&lt;P&gt;No I havent been able to determine why the job is failing and I'm not getting any feedback.&amp;nbsp; I even contacted HP and they referred me to the backup/restore documentation...I explained to the rep that I was doing a fresh install on a new server and from reading almost all documentation, that method is not the suggested method here.&amp;nbsp; Dunno, hopefully someone who has experienced this in the past will clue me in on what is up.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>HP SIM 6.3 Upgrade Import Error</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am having a problem upgrading our current HP SIM 6.1 to 6.3 on a new server.&amp;nbsp; Source CMS is a Windows Server 2003 box and target is Windows Server 2008 R2 box.&amp;nbsp; Export of data went fine however when trying to do the import I am receiving the following error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CMS data (device) is not found in the database. The database may be corrupted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please use a fresh installed target CMS for import&lt;BR /&gt;Error while reading CMS data using HPSIM database connection.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Product Name&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; : HP Systems Insight Manager&lt;BR /&gt;Product Version : Not Available&lt;BR /&gt;Status&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; : Failed&lt;BR /&gt;--------------------------------------------------​--------&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Error occurred while importing data.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I would stop all services manually before running the export. Also, what version of DB are you using? Login and make 100% there is only 1 SIM DB in there as there maybe others from previous restores or upgrades. Verify the account you are using to run the export and try again&lt;/P&gt;</description>
