      <title>Systems Insight Event ID 3</title>

      <description>SInce a few days I get the following event logged in W2K3 with Systems Insight Manager:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Source: HP Systems Insight Manager&lt;BR /&gt;Type: Error&lt;BR /&gt;Category: none&lt;BR /&gt;EVent ID: 3&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"com.hp.mx.database.DbVerificationException: Problem initializing the database.&lt;BR /&gt;com.hp.mx.database.DbVerificationException: Authentication type should be host or dbms.  We cannot initialize the database"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This occurs shortly after I start the Systems Insight Manager service and continues every few minutes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers&lt;BR /&gt;AWo</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hallo,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;same issue at our Systems Insight Manager 6.3 since 4 weeks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also since then HP Systems Insight Manager shows no date on web interface until a service restart was made.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After service restart it comes up with orphan events.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a solution or workaround in place?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>So what missing information are we missing? Was this DB restored or XML data imported or updated via select update statement? Have you performed a DBCC on the DB?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As I remember nothing has been changed, restored or updated on system nor SQL-cluster. Maybe there was an Update within RSSWM which impacts HP Systems Insight Manager?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are no entries available on left pane where browsing options has to be in place know as "System and Event Collections" nor on main pane.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hallo,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no there is no support case logged for this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I´ve checked hard disk drives on SIM and SQL-cluster there is more than 20 GB free space on each so I don´t think this will be the problem.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;FYI&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have stopped HP VMM service on SIM, since than some errors are logged in Application Log but SIM is running whithout any blank frames in web interface.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
