topic Another Java Feature after MSJVM removal. in Server Management - Systems Insight Manager

Due to other testing I've recently used the MSJVM Removal tool to remove the old MS JVM from my W2000 Professional Workstation.

I have Sun JRE 1.4.2_05 installed but typically do not integrate it to the Browser as I often need multiple JRE's on my Workstation.
Alas, this no longer works, without the MSJVM, I can log in to HPSIM, but when I go to a page with the Agent thresholds are set IE charges off to the MS Site to tell me it needs a JVM. Which you can no longer get from MS.
So, I reinstalled the Sun JRE but this time ensured the boxes for integration to IE (& Mozilla) were checked. HPSIM now works but it does mean that if I have other Apps. that need a different JRE I could run into further issues.
So, not a problem, more a FYI for those who enjoy fighting various JRE issues.
