Email is just through SMTP.

I think that it must be server specific, rather than email, as only 30-40% are showing this 'feature'.

Matt

There seem to be several threads concerning this topic, but not any with solutions !

Running IM 7 SP2, with the Proliant servers running IM Agent V6.40 (W2K & W2K03)

When I recieve a system critical/not critial message, the event date and time are incorrect, and it is always the same date and time (unique to each server tho).

See example below:

Subject: XXXXXX:
Discovered Device: Microsoft Server Up

Event Name: Discovered Device
Event originator: XXXXX
Event Severity: Informational
Event received: 14-Aug-2003, 12:56:28
Event description: This event is created whenever a device has been discovered. The Discovered Device event can not be deleted. If this is seen from a notification task, that task was configured to run using new or removed entries from a device query and likely the device status changed. See the help text on creating notification tasks for additional information.
Assigned To:
Comment:

Current Device Status: Unknown
Current Time: 06-Nov-2003, 12:00:45 EST

As you can see, "Event Received" is 14th Aug 03, event though the event occurred on 6th Nov 03.

It looks like there is time stamp/flag which is not being reset.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

Matt
