Hp insight manager port on firewall

Hi,

recently I have discoverd the reason because my HP sim don't receive trap snmp by servers (an not even the trap for disk broke o for example power supply broke).

HP sim and the servers are in the different subnet. Which ports I must open on the firewall for make comunicate sim with my servers?

THeres a whole security document on that. Just google for security ports, hpsim.

Depends on your config but at least ports for SNMP. Look them up in the documentation for the product.

SNMP Incoming on HP SIM: 162

WBEM (if you didn't change default): 5989

50000-50010 (don't remember what these are used for...)

2381    Secure https link between SIM server and SMH Framework
2301    Used by SIM to identify managed servers in the network
