suspend/resume monitoring in SIM

I have suspended monitoring indefinitely and tried to do it for 7 days but it always re-enables itself later in the day. Any thoughts on why this does this.

This is a bug with SIM, where the Daily System Identification task resets any systems that have suspended monitoring back to monitored status.

A fix has been made available with a patch kit for SIM 6.3 - you will see that the fix is incorporated in the SIM 6.3 December 2011 patch kit.

This issue is happening in HP SIM version 7.1
