Migrate Upgrade HPSIM 5.2 SP2 SQL 2008

Hi everybody,

I have HPSIM 5.2 SP2 under Windows 2003 Server Enterprise 32bits and SQL Server 2005 SP2.

I have project to :

1- Upgrade HPSIM to latest versio (6.2).

2- Migration of HPSIM to new server : Windows 2008 Server R2 64 bits and SQL Server 2008 64bits.

I dont know how i do first and if my project its possible.

For starters, 6.3 with hotfixes is the latest version so I'd upgrade to That. In terms of migrating the data, I'm not sure this is 100% possible. There is a data migration tool but I;m pretty sure it only works from 6.1+. When I did my migration from 5.x I exported as much as I could with the mx* commands and then simply re-reran discoveries on the new box and re-created tasks etc. That I couldn't import.

But i can upgrade from 5.2 to 6.x.

My problem is in

SQL version: from 2005 to 2008. 32bits to 64bits

System version : Windows server 2003 to 2008. 32bits to 64 bits.
