I need some assistance with getting email notifications from HP System Management Homepage.

I have ran through the configuration of HP Event Notifier but when attempting to send a test trap message (either from the control panel or System Management Homepage) I do not receive anything.

Upon checking the System Logs I have discovered the following error:

The description for Event ID 5 from source CimNotify cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Foundation Agents: Generic Trap

On System Mangement Hompeage, under SNMP & Agent Settings, Trap, I have configured a private (localhost, 127.0.0.1) and public (127.0.0.1, localhost). Both have read/write permission.

SNMP service and SNMP Trap are running.

Please help, thanks.
