Hello,

We are monitoring six HP P4000 systems using HP SIM 7.0

We can monitor the systems and getting traps.

But we do not see the system name in SIM, we only get the IP address.

I attach the a view to the Identification section in SIM.

What is wrong?

We set the hostname via remote console as well as the iLO 2 subsystem name.

Thank you very much in advance.

BR

Matthias

You can try nslookup of the two IP address on your sim server.

If you do not get a name this is normal behavior.
