    <description>&lt;P&gt;Sometimes I have those issues. Mostly it is due to old/erroneous HP Insight Management Agents.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have some troubleshooting actions for this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;1)&lt;/STRONG&gt; Check Homepage: If it is nearly empty it is an issue with the insight management agents. In this case, restart them. (Or restart the whole server if you want it clean)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;1a)&lt;/STRONG&gt; Homepage is fine, go to 2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;1b)&lt;/STRONG&gt; Homepage still empty, reinstall/update agents - might need a reboot (see &lt;STRONG&gt;2b&lt;/STRONG&gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2)&lt;/STRONG&gt; Go to Settings "Send Test Indication" (WBEM) or "SNMP &amp;amp; Agent settings" -&amp;gt; "Send Test Trap" (SNMP)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2a)&lt;/STRONG&gt; HPSIM receives Trap (and HW error trap still not received): check eventlog for errors/warnings like "trap could not be forwarded to management server"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2b)&lt;/STRONG&gt; HPSIM does not receive trap: Check WBEM subscriptions, firewall, HPSIM event filter settings, maybe reinstall/update HP components on server (countless troubleshooting possibilities)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Hard disk error doesn't show up in HP SIM</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We are running HP SIM v6.3 on Windows 2003 server. One of hard disks has red led and HP Array Configuration Utility shows an error. However, HP SIM doesn't show any errors. Do I miss some configurations on SIM to show the error? If yes, wnat should I configure to send me the notification when the hard disk has a problem?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;First check if there is an event for this in the event log. If the SNMP or WMI agents are being used there should be an event.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
